I just have a block heater on both my vehicles, oil pan heaters are not that useful, using synthetic oil is probably more effective than using the heater. Not once last year did my exploder not start because of the cold weather, and I just put Valvoline synthetic blend high mileage in it. Block heater is a WISE investment if you start dipping to the -20 celsuis range though.</p></blockquote><p></p>
