It has the stock shifter, the sybchros are still good I can shift quick even at high rpm with no grind or popouts. Sometimes 3rd is hard to "find". That's the best way I can explain it, the actual H pattern is sloppy but the shifter itself isn't sloppy at all, it's pretty solid. And yeah the whine is too much when you're trying to be somewhat stealthy. It literally blocks out the exhaust sound. It's not like a turbo though so it's nice that it's quiet just driving. But when I get on it even a little bit it screams so damn loud. I like the sound just wish it wasn't turned up to 11.</blockquote>
