The bearing is offset so that the bearing no longer rides on the worn surface but adjacent to it.  The axle still remains damaged where the old bearing wore and thus remains weaker at that stress point.  Check how much the ”repair” bearings cost versus the cost of a pair of new axles, bearings, and seals.  I personally would spend a few more dollars on new axles and not have to worry about using old damaged axles.  Take a good look at the wear where the old bearings ride.</p></blockquote><p></p>
