Observing that the fan was not coming on when it is supposed to would have given you a place to start fixing the problem sooner and saved on everything that you did that did not fix the problem, though it may have needed those things anyways because of age and mileage.If you drive on the highway your fan will not need to come on as enough air is being forced through the radiator already. If you do stop and go city driving then it will heat up and the fan will be needed to cool the radiator. Learn how to use a volt/ohm meter. It is your eyes into your electrical system. It will enable you to test circuits and parts before you go aimlessly changing parts that are good and wasting money and time.Steve</blockquote>
