In it's place they gave us their 2011 SS Camaro pace car edition. For those of you who saw that "as your ride sits" pic that I posted a few days ago it's that one. Mom and I went down to the outlet stores this morning, 45min drive, and said "you wanna drive?" I guess because today is my birthday or whatever lol I don't know. And I said no. She said "yeah god forbid you be seen in an automatic, except for your girlfriends car" haha I was dyin at that point. So we left to head home and she said you wanna drive? Surrrre **** it I'll drive the ugly beast. She said "well I was gonna take the backroads home but I have a feeling you want to get it on the highway don't you?" "**** yeah that's why I'm driving"We get to a good point on the highway that I know very well, no cops, no traffic for a great distance, perfect opportunity. It's a paddle shift auto so I downshifted into 3rd and mom looks at me and says "what are you doing?" later I had to explain to her that you downshift for racecar mode lol. And I punched it. I FULLY expected this thing to throw me back in my seat and shock the shit out of me the way my mom was talking about it..... NOPE. Thing was slow as shit. I mean.... It rides super smooth at high speeds, but man it's just not that fast. I could see out of my peripheral that my mom sank back in her seat and was holding on tight hahahahaha. I hit 110 and she was like "okay that's enough. Stop!" LMAO! I was like what's the matter scared? Haha apparently she's not used to driving in racecar mode <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite11" alt=":rolleyes:" title="Roll Eyes    :rolleyes:" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":rolleyes:" />All in all, for a stock car, yeah it's definitely fast. But my Mustang, without a freakin doubt, feels faster. I'm not sure if it's because the Camaro is so smooth but I definitely felt like I was getting up to speed a lot slower. And did not get thrown into my seat. Now with an intake, tune, and exhaust that thing would destroy my car. But stock form I'm gonna have to give an honest no bs opinion and say that I think Turdstang is faster. Just thought I'd share my little birthday adventure with you guys lol</blockquote>
