The el cheapo way to get good sound, basically. Flowmaster makes so many different series mufflers that offer different characteristics, it's hard to just narrow down what the difference is. On our cars you're going to have people between the the 40s, 50s, Super 40 and Super 44 series and then you've got all the delta flows and other stuff. So that can be one difference. The other is that if his is a "short h" it may mean he has long tubes hooked up, but I doubt that considering it would be kinda crappy to spend the money for good longtubes and an h for a 4.6 car, both from a cost and complexity standpoint, just to weld in some flowmasters to factory pipe as the final touch. Agree with the above as well, 4.6L cars and 5.0L cars sound quite different. Wish my 4.6 sounded like a 5.0 honestly</blockquote>
