[QUOTE="FrankenStang, post: 1156002, member: 17169"] well, tomorrow ille be finishing up everything.... now, is there anything Im missing.....all 4 TC studs came through the flywheel and look even I even put in 4 bolt in the transmission to verify this(2 on each side) and then I will Install the rest of the bolts as well as install my filler tube since one of the bolts holds it in place and then I will install the 4 bolts that hold the TC in place. And then do I slide it and make shur it moves like 1/16th of an inch or something?, I will then do my starter and make shur the teeth are set properly then do my drive shaft ille also hook up TV and shift linkage then exhaust then hook up all sensors and then put in 2 gallons of gas since shes on fumes and then drop the car to the ground,or should I check the trans while it is on the jack stand in the air? also I have 12 quarts of merc V and 2 already in the TC, what amount total does an 88 aod call for and once its all installed do I put in a quart or two or do I wait until its started to start filling it? or do I fill it as much as possible befor I start it? Also, since im so new at trans work to set the tv linkage and stuff should I just take it to a trans shop and pay to have that done? and just check to see if I have all my selector gears like park neutral(which I lost) reverse( which I lost) and other onesbut not drive it and adjust the TV cable to the best of my ability but still take it in or should I risk setting it my self as it doesn't look hard but I don't have anything to check the trans pressure like you are sapose to,im shur I could pull out the cable lock it in place to eliminate slack blablabla and I even got a new bushing for it to lock it the trottlelinkage....my main worry for me setting it is its not going to be factory because I have a explorer intake with an aftermarket intake elbow that I doubt sits in the exact spot as stock did...
