Message: <blockquote data-quote="95 svt cobra" data-source="post: 398099" data-attributes="member: 10189"><p>yeah i thought it was ignition noise to, but i did some tests, and it turns out that if its ignition noise it would be a pulsing noise, mine id more of a whine high pitched, which apparantly according to many CB websites is associated with the fuel pump. cause it some on for about 2 seconds with the key in the on position, vehicle not running, but when it is running its constant. i found some shielding stuff that acts as a jumper so to say that you just put in by the leads that go to the fuel pump.
