After more testing and recreation of conditions I found that under heavy acceceleration the alt was producing well in excess of 19 volts and my battery boiled over. Same lights came on and gauges wigged out again. Only bad thing now is that my voltage gauge seems to be pegged to the far right and nolonger functioning. I also took it to where I got the reman alt from and they tested only to find the same thing I did and even got under the car to check the grounds which are just fine..... They didn't have another on hand so I have to wait until monday</blockquote>
