Message: <blockquote data-quote="ttocs" data-source="post: 1551924" data-attributes="member: 11896">the front amp if you still have it is located directly below the radio mounted to the top of the trans hump.  If you get on the driver side console and pull the carpet up you can see the end of it(the blue up front is the abs IIRC).  If you do see it and you can reach the harnesses in there then disconnect it.  It should not effect the sound but it is a known problem.Like I said just disconnect the gem module and either have an amp meter hooked up(you will need to disconnect the battery and put the meter in between the lead/battery if you do not have a hook/inductance type to measure) or just leave it for a few days and see if it loses voltage.</blockquote>
