years ago when i ditched the smog stuff off my 94 i (for some reason) left the red line hooked up that feeds all that stuff under the passenger side fender. i replaced this red line with a rubber hose and have it run to the vacuum tree near the throttle cable bracket like it's supposed to be but why do i need it? I'm getting ready to throw that polished explorer intake on next weekend and I'm trying to hide a few more things this time around. i think I'm going to plug the vacuum port in the aftermarket elbow and run my fuel pressure regulator vac line under the upper and hopefully just git rid of that old red vac line that runs under the fender. here's the fittings I'm thinking of using on my upper to hook up the FPR and PCV and whatever else i need. but before i hammer the black fitting in id like to know if i need that line posted in the pic above...or if it will hurt anything at all since i have no smog......thanks
