Cobras are the way to go if you can afford it. AND you need to have 17" wheels to put em on. However there ARE ways to improve the stock brakes. Get a good set of rotors. Brembos are very good rotors. Next to that would be Ford rotors. The problem with ebay rotors or Autozone cheepies is that they are cheeper metal and will warp sooner. You also need to get a good set of pads. Dont skimp on pads. If you go with auto parts store brand, get the top end semi metallic. Ceramics are for racing or trucks hauling heavy loads. They dont fade like regular pads. But they dont have as good of gripping power. And lastly calipers. Any old rebuilt will do. HOWEVER, you can upgrade to 99-04 dual piston calipers with just a small mod to the spindle. You can do these brakes for about half of the cost of Cobras.
