The rims only had blank silver center caps but I could tell they were cobra R's and assumed they were aftermarket replicas. I needed a set of rims for the tires I had in the garage so I emailed him so I could check them out and I figured I could fix up the rims and throw them on my car. I get there and the rims were actually in pretty good shape with only a little curb rash with one having none at all. So I buy the wheels and ask him about the sub frame connectors. They were brand new still in the wrapping and he never got to install them on his 95 before he sold it. I asked him what brand they were and he said they were Maximum Motorsports so I decided to buy them and he gave them to me for $80 since I had bought the rims. At this point I'm thinking I made a pretty good deal a set of Cobra R's for $150 and MM subframe connectors for $80. I get home and start cleaning one wheel and see a Ford stamp on the back so I check the rest and sure enough the wheels weren't knock offs at all they were all 5 lug Ford 17x8 cobra r wheels. So ya I think I had a pretty good day :thumbsup: Anybody know if the Ford cobra wheels are worth anymore than the replicas? I was thinking about painting them black, but now I don't know if I should if there worth anything.</blockquote>
