Most people who build 347's with a mild cam don't get to 400 at the wheels. You can go with a very aggressive cam and get there but they aren't the most street friendly. Also depends on how high you go with your compression, If you want to stay N/A with it or plan to put a power adder on it. If you plan to stay N/A then you can get a 331 with high compression and wild cam and get there but with forced induction friendly compression you probably wont get there. If you do let me know your combo as I learn new things everyday...hahaha
Yes there is a lot left out of the car right now since its still a stock style block. I have a ton of timing pulled on it. I went with the low compression to make it a little safer to run more boost. Next motor will probably be around 9-1 or 9.5-1 but will be a dart block. I haven't had a chance to run it at the track since ive been in Iraq for about 3 years and when im home I have Family duty with the wife and kid. I will hopefully get to one on my next leave in late November. Hoping for low 11's or high 10's if I can find some traction and my rear end holds up.
