I was told the car had 3.55's so I jacked it up today just to see. (I knew it had some kind of gear, because for every 10 mph it was off by 2 i.e. going 30=36 100=120) and the car odometer read way quicker. So I jack one side up, then get ready for the other, (this is my left side a.k.a driver side) and I can turn the wheel and the driveshaft moves , so I say what the heck and count the rotations of the driveshaft just by spinning the left tire. Now here is where I am confused , where the yoke is (I think that is what it is called), there is four seperate edgings, I placed white out on one so I would now how many times it spins. Well I spin the tire over probably ten different times, and according to my cacluations the car would only have about 2.37 gears (now I know that is laughable but dont laugh because I need help :nonono: ). But if you count it by every half rotation it would be 3.73's, now I am one hundred percent sure I counted the driveshaft spins correctly, I did it so many times I figure there must be something I was doing wrong, so help a noob mustang owner out please. :TY:</p></blockquote><p></p>
