I have what I believe is a 6 puck clutch, it's stiff as hell, and if I try to slowly slip it out, the car stutters. In fact, if I give it hardly any gas, it starts going just fine...on the flip side, if I gun it and let the clutch out fast, I'm also fine.BUT, I have also gone through a TOB on a previous car. That made a sound that went away when I put the clutch in. I understand that some TOBs make noise ONLY when you put the clutch in. I'll check again when I get home, but I don't believe the sound went away with the clutch in or out.</blockquote>
