You know by your foot rest driver door. When I installed my after market hood, the secondary locking latch on the hook part kept getting engaged, so the latch assumed the hood was in the closed position but it kept popping up.Anyway worth a try, if you haven't already/Also with my cheap ass Mr Body Kit fiberglass hood, it wore a groove so the locking mechanism never wold latch. I have since mounted a peice of thick metal so the latch has something to grab on to.</blockquote>
