I've had strut rods, that I installed on my Cobra (not Mustang) when I built it. That was 26yrs ago and I've been through about 3 sets on the hood and one on the trunk. I built it so they all took the same strut. I understand the wind part but when that happens, my hoods stay down. I'll see how this goes and go from there. The only crappy part would be having the riveted brackets on the hood if I have to go back to the strut. Or, I could do nutserts and at least be able to remove the brackets. The more I think about it, the nutserts sound better.</p></blockquote><p></p>
