Only happens when its wamed up.Coolant leaks out that hose or hole rught above my exhast manifold on passenger side then onto it. I remember before buying this car seeing online about this being a issue and if you dont fix it, itll cause a exhast leak and i dont got longtube header money rn lol. I think it might have forms a small leak because i noticed rn that coolant smoke is coming out of my ac vents now and smells in the cab but that only happened the last time i drove. Anyone have any idea? Also i replaced my motor mount cuz high spoed vibration but now after i hit iver 130 itll vibrate like a mf sounds like a choopper or somthing( got energy suspension mounts)Thanks for your time!i cant find anything about this now so sorry.

You need to replace the heater core. If it was just AC condensation then it would be fine. Coolant in your vents means the heater has a crack in it. Time to pull the dash and swap it out

I dont see anything wrong with driving the car short distances. And i would forsure be watching coolant levels too!

Also note, the heater hose to the heater core could have a restrictor within the hose. This prevents full water pump pressure to the heater core. Typically the hose would burst 1st before the core, but in your case the core gave up.....so just saying......if youve replace heater core hoses and the hose did not have the restrictor, your problems will continue.

Looks like this. If your hose is stock, feel around on it for the restrictor. Typically there is a clamp to hold the restrictor in place. Look for it roughly located in the middle of the hose

Havnt taken the dash off so idk how the hoses look but idk anything about heater cors lol so definitely good to know about that restrictor. Waiting for the heater core to get here then im start ripping apart the dash. Hopefully i dont break to many clips lol

that is a LOT of work if it ends up being the hose. I was asking the pros here as I thought when it went bad that the passenger floor will collect coolant.

Not necessarily, a pin hole leak would just drip out the drain. But yes a full blown out heater core could lead to a wet floor board and low on coolant
