My way is a little different than the others I have read.Step 1: Pull head rest up as far as it will go.Step 2: Straighten out a metal clothes hanger and cut of the curly portion of the hanger.Step 3: Insert the hanger down the middle of headrest, where the groove is (i found it easier to push down the uphostery and foam and insert the hanger on the outside of plastic piece)Step 4: Slide the hanger until you meet resistanceStep 5: Slide the headrest down all the wayStep 6 (this is where my instruction differ a little): Grab the hanger and continue to slide it another 6"-10" until you meet resistance again (about 16" total)Step 7: Slide head rest all the way out and youre done. Hope this helped some people out that, most likely, want to remove that hideous belt loop.</blockquote>
