Message: <blockquote data-quote="reivaxtorres" data-source="post: 229440" data-attributes="member: 8890">are there sensors tapped into that runner or is the other end of that runner hooked up to a hose? if it is, then thats not an intake runner, its the coolant passage. there shouldnt be any brackets above the #1 runner. but considering the one you are talking about (if it is the coolant passage) is all plastic, im about 90% sure its the NPI one anyways. oh, and since that coolant passage is plastic, i would replace it. that part has been known to crack and leak (more like pour...) coolant out. the newer PI manifolds have an aluminum crossover, but some of the older style ones (99 and 00 i think) still had a plastic passage. you will need to tap an extra port in the aluminum crossover for an extra sensor tho (PI cars only use 1 sensor, NPI cars use 2)</blockquote>
