After a year I had to rebuild the engine, I paid a little over 8 grand thru an engine builder, another 1000 for the C6 to be rebuilt, needed a new custom drive shaft too. After about 2 years I got it all back together, a month later the floor mat got stuck on the throttle causing it to rev to 8500 RPM before I could react. Back to the engine builder for another 1700 in repairs. I had this car 9 years and maybe drove it 300 miles. Sometimes you just have to cut your loses and move on.
