i knew they'd be a pain.. just retelling the story to others to let them know that is in fact, a pain in the ass. You couldnt convince me to not run them, gotta love the sound. SHORTYS arent worth it.. its still a pain to get to the bolts, regardless of the type of header.. Yea i do love them, even being just open lol I used a combination of there bolts, and stock studs. The stock setup uses oval nuts and they hold on fairly well.. i tightened them the best i could.. didnt use any loctite or washers.. not enough room. I'll be getting a tubular K here eventually.. and i'll probably proceed to tighten them again at that point. I used factory studs/nuts on the spots that are extremely hard to get to.. and then i used the bolts supplied in the kit on the easily accessible spots. we'll see how it goes.. taking it to get the H pipe made tommorow they are in fact a pita.. but to be honest, if you do LT's, and don't wimp out.. there won't be anything on your car that your afraid to do... basically I started out blind with this car, being a 5.0 guy of 5 years.. and then i got a 4.6, not knowing much about them. Now that i've gotten this deep, i'm not afraid of the car at all, much less screwing anything up.. if you pay anyone to do your stuff, you don't really have a hotrod.. you just happen to own one.. no different then buyin the car with it on it, nothing to be proud of in that
