It looks like it's threaded crappily in from the start. I don't want to retap it and screw in a larger fitting, as I've had someone else do that for me before and it kept leaking constantly. I have a plastic weld thing for ABS plastic, which is apparently what our manifolds are made of. Would that secure the brass fitting to the intake, or would it not grab on to the brass?
