Sounds stupid, yes..However, the valve cover has wear from where the cam lobes (bigger lobes/intake?) line up on the valve cover, and not only does it show the line, theres a bit of a groove on it. Possibility of the noise? Im not sold on thinking its PTV. Or timing related. Theres just no way.I tightened down my valve covers prettttty tight. Also before had gaskets that were used..so not sure if they were sitting right. Idk. Just thinking outside of the box and hoping...</blockquote>
