I have a 94 Mustang GT Vert with the aode. I got it about 6  months ago. Ive been slowly replacing the bad and upgrading. The tranny was shifting fine and the fluid was good. I just wanted to beef it up a little and get in and have a look at it. (I used to be a mechanic at a ford dealer back in 2000 or so and have seen the best and worst aode's). I got the pan and valve body down and everthing looked pretty good, cherry fluid and normal amount of friction material on magnet. I just wrapped it all up today and here is my take on it so far: Its not a slam in your pants kind of thing like I thought. I definately can tell that it makes the shift quick and doesnt think about shifting like it used to. I opted to drill the medium size hole, and also I didnt go for one washer under the 1-2 spring I went with three total, though the highest it says to do is 4 total. Overall it feels like a fresh new tranny that is a little bit agressive but not a crazy all out tranny.
