I did the swap at 17 having never worked on cars after I blew a head gasket and the car still ran until the day I started parting it out for my new project. Not tooting my horn, just saying if a dumb ass like me can pull it off you definitely can. You slow down when you start pulling off the front of the engine, k member and have to start moving up and down the motor to get the headers off. I'm 25 now and still afraid of transmissions.Do not port and polish while they're still on the motor, it's epic fail mode. You can rip everything down to the heads and have it towed to a mechanic who should be able to pull them off with their specific tools in like an hour, maybe that's a good compromise?</blockquote>
