I've been looking for a 4X4 winter DD and my wife has got me looking at Land Rovers and MB's and BMW's etc because she thinks if i spend an extra 2-3k over my 5k limit on a "nicer" car it will be safer and more reliable etc and i can't get it through her head that i know how and like working on Fords and when things go bad on a Rover or Benz the parts are not cheap and my unfamiliarity with them will mean longer down time for repairs. I love German cars but love them even more under warranty!</blockquote>
