A shorter strut will compress the spring at full extension more than a taller one. Stang Suspension suggests buying shocks and struts for a FOX when installing lowering springs as it is a shorter shock/strut and will work better with the new ride height of the shorter springs. They also say that the neutral position on the strut, IE where the strut sits when at rest, is lower on the FOX shocks (because of how they are built) than the SN95 struts. And thus the car will sit a little lower with FOX struts. NOT MUCH. Maybe half an inch at most. I am installing them on mine right now.</blockquote>
