Hello Scott, My name is also Scott, and my previous SN95 looked almost just like yours... These pictures are from 2005, and the way these stripes were put on, are what inspired me to do exactly the same thing to my current ride. As you can see I had the cobra hood, and mach 1 chin spoiler. I didn't paint this car, but whoever the painter was that did it ( I know them, I just can't remember) stopped the stripe right before the crease in the bumper at the bottom. I decided to just break the stripe on my car there as well. Plus these stripes are a family tradition for me, My dads mustang has them, my sisters has them, and my uncle's 1965 fastback has them... ( by the way my uncle just recently got his 1965 mustang put in the Modified Mustangs and Fords magazine.) I know that the snakes bother some people on here, but they are not mustang snakes, but Torino Cobra eblems... double whammy for misbadging I know, but it's not your usual badges. Also, I'll probably start a new thread, and show ya'll the rest of the garage, my crusty 1969 firebird ( that's hopefully about to get sold... I was way over my head when I got it), my dad's SN95 GT, and his 1971 fastback torino... that's being completely restored. Now to answer your question Untame-d... I painted the stripes on with the basecoat Kona Blue, then I clear coated over the stripes when I cleared the whole car... and yes I was debating on whether or not to just go ahead and order some lowering springs. I've already got tockico blue's, and I was thinking the matching ford springs would do the job... plus they only cost $165 for a whole set of 4 springs new. Well, either I get springs or lower control arms.
