So I have begun dumping some money into my mostly stock, laser red, 95 gt convertible. The previous owner had done little more than change the oil in it regularly. After poking around the engine bay I noticed that the plug wires looked like they were actually starting to cracked. I placed my hand down between the tubes on the headers to pull the wire off of the spark plug and to my astonishment I literally pulled the wire in half with little to no effort. Well as you can imagine, I am headed to the local parts store to pickup a new set of autolite 25's, and MSD cap and rotor kit, an MSD blaster coil, and a set of Ford Racing 9mm plug wires. I have contemplated putting an MSD ignition box in it but I have only installed them in medium to heavily modified carbed motors and was curious to know if a new ignition box in a stock EFI motor will do more harm than good. Any input would be appreciated as well as any box recommendations and tips or experiences.
