This is my daughters 04 3.8/5spd she bought new. Its now a fun car.
Pypes x-pipe

OEM springs with 1 coil cut off
Monroe FOX struts / used Tokico shocks
OEM 17x8 GT wheels / 245/45/17
1in spacers front / 1.5 spacers rear
Looks great, sounds great, handles great, rides great.
The cut springs firmed the ride nicely, but are no where near as harsh as B or C springs. 2-3 fingers between teh tire and fender lip
The x-pipe and oem GT exhaust has a nice mellow tone and really picks up as the rpms increase. Very mellow at highway speed.
Sway bars make a huge difference.
I gave her the wheels and tires off my 97 Cobra, everything else was less than $600, the only new parts were the struts and spacers, everything else was used off CL. The exhaust shop charged us $85 for some welding, bending and expanding to clean up the fitment.
Overall Im very happy with the results. More budget mods on the way.
