I was wondering what I could do with the socks that had holes in them and it occured to me that they would be great around the car. Assuming they are clean of course(I always find them folding anyway) they are well worn and soft material that you do not feel bad about throwing out after one use. Put one on your hand and now those hard to read places(valve covers or wheels for example) are not so hard to clean!secret #2 - Before you wash the car open the trunk and put one sock under each of the shocks for the trunk lid and shut it. Now all the water that normally goes down the back window into those two small trays and then leaves water marks on your bumper will collect in the socks. When you are done washing the car simply pick them up and now you will not have any spots on yer bumper!Anyone else have any secrets they could share?</blockquote>
