Message: <blockquote data-quote="ttocs" data-source="post: 1566059" data-attributes="member: 11896"><p>from my experience the amps ford used from jbl liked a fairly high voltage input.  I think they honestly just took the low power speaker level outputs and fed that to the amps.  Because of this some decks do not have a hot enough rca signal to really get the amps to full volume and unfortunately it is hard to tell this until you hook it up.  If if is lacking power you can always get what is called a line driver and that would boost the signal up to where the stock amps would be happier.</p></blockquote><p></p>
