Message: <blockquote data-quote="Flade" data-source="post: 1566105" data-attributes="member: 22847"><p>The reason there are two models is because lower cost head units do not have low level RCA outputs connections.  In this case the speaker outputs are fed to the amp directly.   Better head units do have the RCA connections allowing the use of the wiring harness with RCA plugs. If your head unit has RCA out connections you can chose to use either harness.  If it doesn’t have the RCA out, then use the harness without them.  The advantage of the RCA connections is the sounds will be cleaner.  The negative is you will lose some volume as ttocs described.  unless you really like to blast the tunes I go with the RCA option when possible.</p></blockquote><p></p>
