Since then, my battery died and I replaced it, and for the first two minutes or so with the new battery I felt some of the power back but I'm pretty sure not all of it. Every time I get to around 4k rpm in 3rd+ gear the check engine light comes, and leaves a short while after I get to lower rpm. When the car's stopped and I rev the engine it can't get to the redline, like 5000, 5500 rpm tops. I have changed the distributor cap, spark plugs, spark plug wires and nothing seems to help.The car is a 5.0 95 gt, with 93k miles on it.kvPalli</blockquote>
