The car is pretty much bone stock. It has an offroad X pipe, Flowmaster catback, K&N, and a MGW shifter. I have been reading up a lot on which route I should go, but I'm really having trouble deciding which direction I should go in. Every way seems to have its own strengths and weaknesses. I've found a deal on a PI intake, install kit, PI cams, Trickflow plenum, Trickflow TB, and CAI for $550. But I'm not sure if I should go for it or not. Should I do this? I'm mainly looking for opinions on which power adder I should go with. My power goals are around 400RWHP, give or take 20 or so. I want to stay under $4500 for everything, but that's slightly flexible. I've been looking at Kenne Bell setups, and that's definately the nicest and cleanest setup IMO. But they don't make a kit for a 96-98 GT anymore, and I don't want to swap to PI heads. Could I do the RTV in the coolant passages and make the Kenne Bell work on NPI heads? Or should I just get the PI intake, cams, etc and slap a Vortech on it? If I do this, what Vortech setup should I be looking for?
