I have LED tail light bulbs and purchased the Universal LED Sequential Kit below. http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Sequential-LED-Taillight-Kit,54987.html?utm_medium=CSE&utm_source=CSEGoogle&utm_campaign=CSEGOOGLE&CAWELAID=1268656841&catargetid=1784208710&cagpspn=pla&gclid=CI_n4_LBhrYCFQ6EnQodWy0Adw Seemed pretty straight forward. One set of wires for input to the module and 3 sets of outputs, one for each bulb...one module for each side of coarse. There is a neg ground, a pos running light wire and a pos brake/turn wire. The input side also has a wire that is to be hooked directly to the brake light switch. I cut, spliced and got everything wired up and hit the hazard light switch. Both sides sequence just as expected. Turn on the headlights and the tails light up just like normal...hit the brake pedal and have brake lights. So far so good right? Here is where things get weird. Turn on the ignition to the run position. Left and right turn signals work sequentially just as they should. Hit the brake pedal and whoa, they flash like hazards. Even more bizarre, turn on the headlights and they flash like hazards. Turn off the key and they work fine again. What in the world changes when the key is on that would do that? This is simple wiring...I've even rechecked my wiring to make sure I didn't do anything stupid...for crying out load it's 2 hot wires and a ground, LOL! Any ideas???
