I decided to take my chance with an eBay store for my headlights. I knew the quality would be subpar but I wasn't going to throw them on as is. Another reason I chose eBay is because nobody sells clear corner black housing lights for 99-04, so now i have something unique that looks good at least. When the headlights arrived, the passenger headlight was sealed very well, better than oem to be exact so all i did was laid a small bead of clear RTV in the seperation surfaces to make sure no moisture was getting in. On the Driver headlight, well that ****er needed work. So what I did was turned my oven up to 350, got some cardboard wet it down, put the headlight on the card board and 5 minutes later the headlight housing seperated from the glass. took it out and let the parts cool down and started scraping off the black silicone that they used. Next I laid down a thick bead of clear silicone then clamped the housing and glass together and laid down another bead around the mating surfaces. The end result was a perfectly sealed headlight :headbang: Just as good as OEM :occasion14: one moar... I'm planning on getting stealth bulbs for the corner lamps. the orange looks fugly. Also....in other news... got my gauge pod in.... :la: :D
