(I've had 5 after market hoods over the years) A little feathering and scuffing and it was being painted in under an hour. My buddy had bought a Carbonware at teh same time for almost 3x's as much and our painter was stuck remolding and fixing hairline cracks for about 6 hours of work before it was ready for paint. I am 100% satisfied with this hood, you should be happy also. I don't know if you know it or not but, This is the same company that was contracted by for to make the original COBRA R hoods on their cars.</blockquote>
