Tuners are in business to make money. It logically follows that they would recommend a tune with a nitrous kit. Lots of people are morons and misuse their nitrous kits. Tune or no tune, if you don't respect it, it will blow up. Um, yes you can. Wet nitrous kits add their own fuel to compensate for the additional oxygen released by the nitrous at combustion temperatures. Jetting the fuel solenoid properly is important. I'm sorry, but where did you get the idea that I don't like to have a car tuned for anything but a racecar? Please find a post where I've said that, or even alluded to that. You're talking to the guy who over-builds EVERYTHING. A properly jetted nitrous kit on a motor that is in good running condition does not need a dyno tune. If the AFR is kept in check via proper jetting of the nitrous and fuel solenoids, and the kit is used within correct operating parameters, it will be perfectly safe. People have been using nitrous kits for a very long time, and long before EFI tunes were so widely available. I'm not anti-anything, I'm just simply stating facts. Paul.
