It chatters, but only when under alot of load. sounds like a champ at idle, cruising speeds, and moderate (normal) acceleration. but if your in OD, and you give it gas, without allowing it to downshift, i.e. speeding up a bit, like when the speed limit goes up, it chatters. doesnt really get louder with more throttle, or faster with rpm increase. just a decently loud, annoying chatter. I cant make it do it at all while not in OD, or while not at WOT. O, yea, it also does it at more than id say 60% throttle, but only while moving, it wont do it if its not under load. i can rev it WOT in the driveway and nothing. and the wierd thing is, it ONLY does it once the car is at operating temperature. if you start it in the morning, and try to make it chatter before the temp gauge is dead center , it wont make a sound. i dont understand it. I use FMC 5w20 and a FMC Filter every change. I have tried putting in lucas, no changes, and i tried a little heavier oil, and same symptoms. i dunno. also, im thinking the rings may be beginning to go. it smokes White/Blue-ish while in drive idling, and puffs a little bit when you take off. I have ridden behind it, and it doesnt constantly chug, and if you throw it in park, it stops smoking. Doesnt smell when your riding behind it, and doesnt use oil really at all. I havnt done compression on it yet. i will post that asap. but im more worried about the chatter than the rings. If you guys have had or seen this help me if you can. thanks</blockquote>
