Yes you absolutely need to have a tubular k, unless you are willing to completely re-do the hot side, and then I am not sure that you would be able to get the pipes around the stock k. I don't have it but have done lots of research on it. From what I have read, for the money it is a quality kit. I guess in the beginning they had a few kits that had bad welds, but since then have corrected it. Once I get my car paid off I think this will be coming my way.</blockquote>
