This year i rebuilt my engine cause my oil pump stopped working.The thing is the car keeps heating and ive done all the troubleshooting with and Im up to the point that i hate my stang sometimes. It has a new water pump, changed the T-Stat 6 months ago, i have the fan wired up to work all the time and i have a custom radiator. The only issue i have is a leaking coolant tank, could this cause the overheating? This how the car works on a daily basis, i turn it on and drive for about 10 mins, it get up to the middle of the gauge and drops down suddenly to about 1/4 of the gauge. Then it goes up slowly to the middle, after like 1 hour of driving the gauge needle starts rising up to the A and L of NORMAL on the gauge. I do have an autometer watertemp gauge but i still havent installed it, i know oem gauges are POS but i dont think its reading that bad. I can feel the hot of the engine and you can feel the lack of power when it gets real hot. Sorry for hijacking your thread bro, but can anyone help me on my issue? I need help ASAP</blockquote>
