Message: <blockquote data-quote="reivaxtorres" data-source="post: 422782" data-attributes="member: 8890"><p>howdy. your car is a 96, so first of all check to see if the recall was performed on the car. basically, in 96, the radiator/fan didnt cool the car off as it should have so ford revised it for 97/98 and offered a fix for the 96 cars. if your car wasnt fixed, im not sure if you can still take it in or not, but if you cant i suggest you try using the "water wetter" additive to help cool it down. also, a 180* t-stat should help you out. aside from that, the next step would be to upgrade to a new (thicker) radiator, either aftermarket or do the 97/98 radiator swap (kinda intensive tho)</p></blockquote><p></p>
