The wiring system for the locks is called a 5-wire system where the switches do all the work and there are no relays. The problem is that if you have a bad connection in a couple of key places that you can loose all functions in the locks. The alarm installer can hopefully figure it out or else he will not be able to get the alarm to work it, they may charge extra for this diagnostic as well since it will take them more time. Tell them about it before you show up for sure.....Does the dome light come on with the doors?</blockquote>
