The upstops are for keeping the glass level when it reaches the top. Whatever clutch system thats i side the motor was broke. The motor still operates but wont stop itself. Maybe its like the older motors with the plastic pieces that wear and and grind up, im not sure. I just bought a motor with regulator for around $50.</p></blockquote><p></p>
