Was wondering if there’s a way to check for AC refrigerant in the lines. My cars not street legal and don’t feel like trailering it just to have the lines checked for coolant. Thanks.

Press the valve and see if anything comes out. Or you can put a set of gauges on it. Are you trying to get the system evacuated?

I’m just seeing if I need to or not before I disconnect the lines.

If you press the valve and get stuff coming out, the good thing to do is have the system evacuated and the coolant reclaimed.
