If you have any type of tuning background be it carb or EFI then you could more than likely figure out the software. It's an almost vertical learning curve. There's a manual and CD that you can purchase to help you learn the software like I said. Then do you want to chance your new engine to yourself if you don't have the skills to tune it yourself? You get a starter file from most reputable dealers but that's it. The software is very powerful and there are no limits to it. So if you take your engine beyond it's limits and blow it up you have no one to blame but yourself.  I wouldn't go racing without something that will give you the ability to tune though.</p></blockquote><p></p>
