this goes back a a couple of months now i thought i had some bad u joints in my 95 gt so i ordered the ford racing shaft thinking i would upgrade while im fixing it. turns out it was the ebrake cable getting caught in the shaft because i had lowered the car (Sportlines), it would pull the cable back and forth and pinch it on the tunnel when i went from forward to reverse or vice versa. i bent the ebrake cable bracket out of the way so it would clear and installed the new shaft anyway, (the old shaft was fine) well i have less than 500 kilometers on the car since i put the new shaft in, and it in the past 2 weeks has started clunking really bad when started forward or reverse (with a little umph) it sounds like something is hitting the driveshaft or severly worn out u-joints. so i took the old shaft that i now know is good and put it back in the car and the noise is gone. there is no visable marks where anything is hitting...on the car and aluminum shaft and the ujoints on the ford racing shaft are still good any ideas what it could be, im stumped i at least can drive my car again but it sucks being out 300 bucks
